Frequently asked questions

Answers, before you ask

Have a question about pelvic therapy, insurance, or your first visit? Start here — and call us anytime if you need more.

What is pelvic floor therapy?
Pelvic floor therapy is specialized, hands-on care that addresses discomfort and dysfunction in the pelvic region — including pain, urinary incontinence or urgency, pelvic pressure, and limited mobility. A pelvic floor therapist evaluates your symptoms and builds a personalized plan to help you return to your daily activities.
Is pelvic floor therapy only for women?
No. While we specialize in women's pelvic health, pelvic floor dysfunction affects men too. Our Men's Health services help men manage pelvic pain, bladder challenges, and post-surgical recovery in a discreet, respectful setting. Call us to learn more.
Do you accept my insurance?
As a courtesy, we bill your insurance for you. We work with major carriers including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Premera, and TriWest, and we also accept out-of-network patients. If you don't see your carrier listed, call us at (907) 743-7820 and we'll check your coverage.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Many patients can begin care without a referral, though some insurance plans require one for coverage. The easiest path is to give us a call — we'll help you understand what your specific plan requires.
What conditions do you treat?
We provide pelvic floor therapy, pregnancy and postpartum care, orthopedic manual therapy, massage therapy, and Pilates. We help with pelvic and orthopedic pain, incontinence, prenatal and postpartum recovery, joint and muscle dysfunction, and overall wellness.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and any referral or relevant medical records. Arrive a few minutes early so you have time to complete paperwork and settle in.
What is a session like?
Sessions are one-on-one and unhurried. Your first visit includes a thorough evaluation and a conversation about your history and goals, followed by a personalized, research-based treatment plan that often combines active therapy with hands-on manual techniques.
Do you care for Veterans?
Yes. We're proud to be part of the TriWest network, providing care for our country's Veterans.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We're located at 4050 Lake Otis Pkwy #211, Anchorage, AK 99508. We're open Monday through Friday from the morning until 6:30pm, and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Call us at (907) 743-7820.
